      Congee with Fresh Crab
      CONGEE WITH FRESH CRAB

      Originally from Taipa Macau, fishermen used crabs caught daily to make congee, which has evolved over the years into a classic Macau water crab congee. It uses local fresh crabs weighing of 6 taels (approximately 300 grams), stir-fried with ginger and scallions, and simmered with tofu skin and white congee to create a sweet and rich dish.

      Originating from Ningxia's pastoral culture and unique culinary traditions, the meat is marinated with spices, then slowly steamed and deep-fried until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is served with a uniquely prepared sauce, cumin powder, and wrapped in steamed pancakes leaving a lingering sweetness and milky aroma on the palate.
